My foot's a little wide with a higher than average arch and these do the trick with an ortho pad. Used to wear Kantara's but switched when they became unavailable. The Equalon's seem to be 1/2 size smaller than usual. (I usually wear 10.5's and have to buy size 11). A little on the heavy side, but have never had any problems with comfort. Good shoe, albeit a little expensive.—12/28/07
