I like the way these feel on my kinda long, kinda high-arched foot. I have trouble finding shoes that have an arch that fits snugly, but not too tightly. The proportions seem right for me.—12/21/07

I wore the asics GT series gleefully for years, and then one model revision caused a bad case of plantar fascitis. So I stayed away for several years, trying other shoes mainly saucony. I never got the peppy feeling that I get from the GT series in Saucony but no heel pain. This year I went back to the series trying the 2120. I loved them for a few weeks but then the dreaded heel pain returned. —12/28/07

The Asics GT-2100 and 2110 ride about they same. They are a good, comfortable stability shoe, with a reasonable amount of cushioning while remaining fairly lightweight. Wear is about average... at about the 500 mile mark, they go from distance shoes to short-haul every-other-day trainers. Tread is okay on easier trails, but you might consider different shoes for gnarly terrain. Changes made to the GT-2120 do NOT make it an automatic replacement for the 2100/2110 models.—01/02/08
